Christmas Masses 2015

As with years past, a total of three Masses will be celebrated over Christmas Eve and Christmas Day according to the schedule below

Christmas Eve

4:30 pm

Mass begins promptly at 4:30 pm with a 15-20 minute choral prelude by the Saint Aloysius-Saint Jude Festival Choir immediately before.

As this is the most popular in attendance, this Mass fills up very quickly and is typically standing room only by 4pm. Parking and seating is limited and ‘first come, first served’.

Overflow seating is provided in the parish hall for an additional 50 plus people. The entire Mass is shown live via closed circuit video and audio from the Sanctuary. Communion will be distributed in the Hall at the same time as in the main church, and the offertory collection will be taken as well.

No folding chairs, or standing crowds will be permitted in any area of the church proper/aisles.

10:00 pm (Midnight Mass)

Midnight Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 pm, the Festival Choir and Cantors will lead the singing at this Mass, but no choral prelude will be sung.

As this mass is usually only about 50% full, it is a good option for those not wishing to ‘cram in’ for the 4:30pm

Christmas Day

9:00 am

Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 am. The Festival Choir and Cantors will lead the singing as with Midnight Mass.

This is another Mass that is usually only about 50% full, and another good option instead of the packed 4:30 Christmas Eve.
